Introduction My name is Tami Putnam, and I am a recent graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University. I have two wonderful boys ages ten and thirteen. I would like each of you to know that I am passionate about this grant; I worked for several semesters trying to get into SFA’s nursing program. I know now that I was not prepared to handle the intense work that each of you have and will experience. I also want you to know that I am a part of this grant to help you pursue your goal and eventually graduate and become a part of caring for others.
